Naturally, Nepal stands among the richest nations of the world. Nepal has everything that the poet can ever imagine. Tukuche is an example to prove the beauty of our Nation. Located in Mustang district, it was for many years the place where the caravans were changed, the goods stored and the custom duty taken. After the decline in the salt trade, it looked like as if the days of Tukuche had gone. However, it is still beautiful as ever.
Statement of the problemNaturally Nepal might be the best but when we talk about development, infrastructures, economy, standard of education, we are ranked even below “average”. There are various reasons for this “underdeveloped” condition among which, lack of standard education, is the major one. A nation is because of the people living in it, so it cannot jump forward unless the people of the nation possess the ability to push it up. For this, efficient people are a necessity for which standard education that can match up the global education, is a must. So, we believe, for a nation to develop, proper education should be provided to all the children. Talking further about Tukuche itself, it a small village where people are hardly in touch with the world’s new technologies. The schools have only the prior methods of teachings. The subsequent techniques are still not introduced due to which Tukuche has been able to set up an example of a part of nation with poor education system. Traditional beliefs and poverty have been the obstacles for the proper education system.
Aims and objectives of our planWe can change the present condition and make a difference and help children from villages get a chance to education. It is possible, with a little bit of help from all of us, those that are more privileged than they are. Our small contribution can make a world of difference in the lives of these children. With better education these children in turn bring about positive change in the society and thus the country at large.
Thus, we have an aim to provide educative materials that can help the students of various places of the country and after helping children of Palanchowk we are now trying to help the children of Tukuche get better view of the new world and prepare themselves to face it.
Our aims are as follows:- Build a small laboratory with proper lab equipment that most normal schools of the capital have.
- Open smaller library with books giving extra knowledge to the students.
- Provide the school with TVs and educational DVDs.
- Provide computers and accessories.
- Provide scholarships. Every child has the right to education and we strongly believe that children should not be deprived because they are poor.
All donations we plan to make will be collected from those that believe children should be educated, PERIOD.
Plan of ActionThis plan is based on the development of the local schools in Tukuche. First, we’ll be selecting schools where we are going to make our plan effective. The plan is directly related to development of Tukuche by providing schools with advanced technical equipment of science. Our team will help build a lab in schools and also fix the new lab equipments. The lab will then be handed over to the management of the schools. Further, the TVs, computers, educational DVDs and scholarship programs will also be handed over to the schools.
News of our project will be publicized and all budget required for this project will be from sponsorship.
A key factor for the national development is their efficient human power and school providing proper education can only help children become those men and women. For this, we are taking a small step by helping one of the schools of Tukuche to have a proper lab and better educational material for the students studying there. This is not possible until you all providing us a helping hand. Your small support can make a great difference for tomorrow’s Nepal.
