Walkathon - Walk for Water

A continuation programme of World Water Week Celebration, Walkathon, was organised to raise awareness of the value of water in totality. The
programme was initiated by Rotary RI District 3292 Nepal and WaterAid. The programme started from the stadium at Tripureshwor and ended
at the Khulla Manch. A symbolic walk of 6 km is the target distance as this has been found to be the distance that most
household have to walk to avail of water in rural areas.
Date: 26 March 2011 (Saturday).
Time: 8AM to 11AM.

Annual Bathing of Seto Machhindranath

Annual bathing and face painting of Seto Machhindranath is going to take place on January 12, 2011 at Janabahaa,
Indrachowk, Kathmandu. The highlights of this year's programme will be a photo exhibition from January 12 to 19th,
and a silver souvenir inauguration.
