GAA has started an initiative to work along with other organisations
and institutions to organise various events and activities besides its regular activities and thus organised
Youth Fest 2011 in coordination with the Rotaract Club of Kopundole on March 12, 2011. The main focus of the day was the
Blood Donation however there were other activities as well to entertain the over 300 visitors. A photo exhibition,
documentary show, food stalls, game stalls, live music, etc. were part of the event that had the visitors appreciating all day.
GAA has been organising various events and activities but however recently it has not been able to do some of its regular activities due to the construction that is in progress at its premises. The Indoor hall has Futsal Arena constructing the premises to accommodate indoor Football and the parking area and the tennis court that used to be is being converted into a indoor hall so as to make space for Basketball, Tennis, volleyball, Badminton, table tennis and other sports as well as to have a stage for events of GAA.
There were over 70 who donated blood on the day. Photos from Nepal Tourism Board had many spending time viewing the beauty Nepal had to offer. Live music as well as documentary were other attractions of the day. Almost all who came expressed great satisfaction as a memorable and entertaining day.
